Overview of Rules Based on Seriux (by Hoststudios) Network Terms of Service (Compliant with German Law – 09/20/2025)

General Rules

The Seriux Minecraft Server has a set of rules that all participants must follow. By joining, you agree to these rules as well as the full Terms of Service.

·        Rules apply to all users: players, visitors, and registered members.

·        Rules and Terms may change at any time without notice. Users are responsible for staying updated.

·        If you do not agree with rule changes, you must stop using the services immediately.

Account and Age Requirements

·        Only legitimately purchased Minecraft accounts are allowed. Sharing or using third-party accounts is prohibited.

·        Users must be at least 13 years old. Those under 18 require parental or legal guardian consent. Proof may be required.

·        Access may be restricted in some countries. Users are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Fair Play and Behavior

All users are expected to contribute to a fair and pleasant environment.

·        Respect all players and team members. Disruptive or harmful behavior is not tolerated.

·        Strictly prohibited actions include:

·        Insults, discrimination, hate speech, threats, and harassment

·        Spamming or advertising for third-party products or services

Cheats, bots, macros, or mods that provide unfair advantages are forbidden. Only day/night adjustment or night vision mods are permitted, subject to the server team’s decision.

Bugs or exploits must be reported immediately to the team. Do not use or share them.

Content and Activities

·        Do not share or promote illegal content or violate copyright or personality rights.

·        Commercial activities, such as selling items or resources, require written server team approval.

·        Attacks or attempts to disrupt the server (DDoS, phishing, hacking, or data theft) are strictly forbidden and may result in legal action.

·        Impersonation of staff or other users and providing false information is not allowed.

Enforcement and Sanctions

·        Violating rules may result in restrictions, suspensions, or permanent bans.

·        Sanctions can be appealed via the forum or support channels, unless the violation involves law-breaking or seriously harms the community.

·        The server team may issue instructions to maintain order and safety; non-compliance may lead to immediate sanctions.

·        Where legally required, users are notified of sanction reasons and appeal options.

Liability and Service Availability

·        No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance and technical issues may occur.

·        No responsibility is accepted for data loss, hardware/software damage, or viruses, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

·        No liability for content, products, or services from third parties linked or referenced by the server.

Privacy and Data Protection

·        Personal data is processed in accordance with the external Privacy Policy (see website).

·        Users have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to personal data processing under GDPR and German law.

·        The server implements reasonable security measures, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Streaming, Recording, and Confidentiality

·        By using voice channels, users consent to their voice being recorded and published in recordings or livestreams. Team members require written consent before being recorded or published.

·        Recording or sharing administrative actions (support chats, tickets, logs) is forbidden without explicit permission.

·        Sharing unreleased features, events, or confidential information is not allowed without written team approval.

Miscellaneous

·        German law applies to all rules and disputes. Consumer protections from the user’s country remain in force.

·        If any rule is invalid, the remainder stay effective. Invalid rules will be replaced with valid provisions of similar intent.

·        Changes or additions to rules must be made in writing.
